The Chef’s Menu: A Culinary Masterpiece

If you’ve yet to experience it, the newest culinary offering from The Clockspire is the Chef’s Menu. This exclusive tasting menu is available on Friday evenings and Saturdays only, and it promises a gastronomic journey that will tantalize your taste buds.

The current Chef’s Menu features a delectable selection of dishes, each carefully crafted to showcase the skill and creativity of Head Chef Luke Bryant. Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:

Starter: Jerusalem artichoke risotto, English autumn truffle, English pecorino, paired with Barbera del Monferrato, Maraia, Marchesi di Barolo, Piedmont, Italy 2021

Starter: Clockspire salmon tartare, caviar, pickled fennel and cucumber, paired with Sauvignon Blanc, Isabey, Sevilen, Izmir, Turkey 2022

Main: Beef fillet, Scottish girolles, roasted cauliflower, charred leeks and spinach, red wine sauce, paired with Côtes du Rhône, Les Abeilles, Jean-Luc Colombo, Rhône Valley, France 2021

Dessert: Clockspire dark chocolate fondant, miso caramel sauce, honeycomb, salt caramel ice cream, paired with Château Septy, Monbazillac, France 2017

Optional Cheese Course: A selection of fine cheeses served with chutney, grapes, and biscuits, paired with Ortega, Late Harvest, Linden Estate, Boxford, Berkshire, England NV

As David Hill, General Manager, explains, “The Chef’s Menu is a true experience, especially when you take advantage of the wine pairing. It really allows you to switch off and enjoy the evening while we show off what the chefs can do here. The only decision left is if there is space for some cheese!”
