At this time of year, thoughts turn to romance and spoiling those most special to us. And if, like many, you’re looking for the very best place for Valentines dinner in Somerset, there’s plenty to choose from – incredible food is increasingly synonymous with our corner of the landscape!
Here at The Clockspire, we’re lucky to be able to blend incredible food and service with the most romantic of settings – we like to think Cupid feels at home among our candlelit vaulted arches – so it’s no surprise that our diary begins to swell with bookings as early as January.
And we’re looking forward to spoiling our guests this year with some spectacular food, as we offer some romantic specials across the whole Valentines week from 12th – 15th February. Alongside our regular a la carte menu, you can choose a starter of brown crab raviolo, a main of rib of beef to share, with truffle mac and cheese, and a sumptuous chocolate fondant dessert, with torched Italian meringue, cherry compote, and cherry sorbet to finish.
February will also see the return of Afternoon Tea, for two weekends only, with a distinctive romantic twist. For just £40pp, you can enjoy delicate finger sandwiches, savouries and sweet treats including a Clockspire white chocolate rose, as well as your choice of freshly brewed loose-leaf tea. What a way to spend an afternoon with someone you love! Add a glass of prosecco or Champagne for extra sparkle.
Our indulgent Valentines Afternoon Tea is available between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 8th, Sunday 9th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th February.
